ANPR parking system: number plate recognition at the gate
ANPR (automatic number plate recognition) means a camera reads the vehicle number for you. At a parking gate, that removes typing, shortens queues and makes it harder to mix up or fake a vehicle number.

How it works at the gate
A gate camera reads the number plate when a vehicle arrives. ParkVanta fills in the vehicle number and creates the ticket. For clear readings, entry and exit can run automatically, and the boom barrier opens when entry is recorded or payment is confirmed.
What you get
We supply and install the camera and barrier, and connect them to the software.
- The vehicle number is filled in by the camera instead of being typed.
- Gate hardware (barrier, camera, printer, reader) tied to each gate and watched for online or offline status.
- Every entry and exit recorded with the time and the vehicle number.
Not sure the camera read it right?
Gate staff can always correct or enter a number by hand. The camera speeds up clear readings; it does not remove the operator.
